KINGMAN – The Kingman Farmers Market celebrated its 10-year anniversary at world-famous Thunder-Rode Event Center on March 29. The farmers market—also known as the Market-At-The-Park—is across from Locomotive Park in downtown Kingman.
Thunder-Rode offers the only free Farmers Market in Kingman and is open every Saturday throughout the summer, from 8 a.m. to noon. The market has free space for vendors as well as live music for the public and visitors.
The market is located at the corner of 1st & Beale Streets. The Market offers:
- Paved handicap-friendly event center
- Free sodas, ice water, restrooms and air-conditioned ambience.
- Live music most Saturdays
- Mother Road Coffee Bus and other food, produce and craft vendors
Thunder-Rode is right behind Mr. D’z famous Old Skool Route 66 diner, and is walking distance to Kingman’s “Heart-of Route 66” historic Route 66 shopping district. The district has dozens of shops, restaurants, bars, breweries, and wineries.
Thunder-Rode is a retailer of motorcycle gear, providing premium grade leathers and leather treatment, conditioning and custom alterations.
