Dale David Lent, 75, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019 in Kingman, Ariz. Dale was born August 15, 1944 in South Bend, Ind., to Dale H. and Edra Lent. After graduating high school in 1962, Dale served eight year in the U.S. Air Force. He graduated from Texas Lutheran University in 1972 with a Bachelor’s degree. Vowing not to marry until he graduated from college, the day after graduation, Dale married his wife of 47 years, Judith Willmann.
Dale began his career in law enforcement in 1973, serving 22 years with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. He served another five years between Bullhead City Police Department, the International Police Task Force in Bosnia and Kosovo, and the Hualapai Tribal Police Department.
Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting at the range. He was a life member of the Mohave Sportsman Club, the NRA, and a member of the American Legion. Dale volunteers his time as a Little League coach for 10 years and a 4-H Shooting Sports leader for five years.
Dale is survived by his wife Judy; his children Doug (Tabitha), David (Leslie), and Rachael (Eric) Haines; grandchildren Shawn, Anastasia, Aryana, Eleesia, Katrina, Alice, Emma; and great-grandchild Sophia. He was preceded in death by his parents Dale H. and Edra Lent, brother Thomas Lent, and sister Lora Lent.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 5:30 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 2101 Harrison St., Kingman.

I’ve known Dale for a great long time and I was proud to know him. He was a great Man who had integrity.
