County road work continues

The citizens of Mohave County can expect the following activity from Mohave County Public Works

during the week of March 9:

Arizona Strip: Road grading on 1) Mt. Trumbull Loop in Main Street Valley and Navajo Trail areas of Colorado City.

Kingman: Pulling road shoulders on Stockton Hill Rd. from Mile 24 to Mile 28. Pot hole patching on N. Bank St. and in the Butler area of Kingman. Also, right of way repair in Valle Vista and Butler areas.

Hackberry: Road grading on 1) Greenwood Rd., 2) Last Moon Cir., 3) First Moon Cir., 4) Blue Spruce Cir., 5) Blue Sage Cir., 6) Arrowhead Rd., 7) Antelope Cir., 8) Tyree Rd., 9) Orejana Rd., 10) Wigwam Rd., 11) Indian Springs Rd., 12) Running Bull Rd. and 13) Elk Row Dr.

Wikieup: Road grading on Burro Creek Crossing Rd.

Yucca: Road grading on 1) Coyote Wells Rd., 2) Alamo Rd. from Mile 19 to Mile 28, 3) Alamo Rd. from Mile 30 heading south, 4) Charlotte Dr., 5) Trigger Rd., 6) Daytona Dr. and 7) Rainbow Rd. Also, patching low waters on asphalt section of Butch Cassidy Rd.

Hualapai Mountain Area: Road grading on Silver Springs Rd. and crack sealing on DW Ranch Rd.

Golden Valley: Road grading on SE: 1) Bacobi Rd. from Crystal Dr. to Shinarump Dr. and 2) Bolsa Dr. from Bacobi Rd. to end of maintenance. S: 1) Pima Rd. from Quartzite Dr. to Wingate Dr., 2) Wingate Dr. from Pima Rd. to Naco Rd. and 3) Yucca Dr. from Centennial Rd. to Sacramento Rd. SW: 1) Dewey Rd. from Shinarump Dr. to Tapeats Dr., 2) Dilkon Rd. from Shinarump Dr. to Tapeats Dr. and 3) Dome Rd. from Shinarump Dr. to Tapeats Dr. NE: 1) Bosque Rd. from Chino Dr. to Agua Fria Dr., 2) Bonita Rd. from Chino Dr. to Agua Fria Dr. and 3) Bibo Rd. from Chino Dr. to Burro Dr. NW: 1) Ligurta Rd. from Hermit Dr. to Gladys Dr., 2) Stewart Mountain Rd. from Hermit Dr. to Pioneer Dr. and 3) Pioneer Dr. from Laguna Rd. to Stewart Mountain Rd. Also, work on Shinarump Dr. between Aztec Rd. and Colorado Rd. is to resume Monday, 3/9. Perco Rock has been contracted by Mohave County to harden the low-water crossings, improve ditches and drainage, construct subgrade and place road base. This work will take approximately two months. Shinarump Dr., between Aztec Rd. and Colorado Rd., will be closed while work is taking place. In late May, following this work, a penetrate-and-chip-seal will be applied, similar to what was applied on Legend Ranch Road.

Dolan Springs: Pulling shoulders on Mineral Park Rd. from cattle guard to end of maintenance. Road grading on 1) Fourteenth St. from Pierce Ferry Rd. to Kingman Dr., 2) Fourteenth St. from Lost Mine Dr. to Nolan Dr., and 3) Fourteenth St. from Nolan Dr. to North Dr.

Meadview: Pulling road shoulders and pot hole patching on Pierce Ferry Rd. from Diamond Bar Rd. to park boundary.

Mohave Valley: Pulling road shoulders on County Route 1 from Mile 7 to Mile 1 and street sweeping on Tierra Linda Dr. in Fort Mohave.
