The Bullhead City Fire Department is teaming up with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA®)—the official sponsor of Fire Prevention Week for more than 90 years—to promote this year’s Fire Prevention Week campaign, “Not Every Hero Wears a Cape. The Bullhead City Fire Department’s Community Risk Reduction Clowning program has become a community favorite and an effective way for our members to teach Fire and Life Safety messages at our local elementary schools. This week our troupe hit the ground running as we gear up for Fire Prevention Week, which runs from October 6 – October 12.  Their characterization program allows team members to educate more than 2,500 children in the Tri-State area aged Preschool through 4th grade. LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Annual Youth Talent Show brought to you by the Lake Havasu City Parks and Recreation Department through the generous contribution of Lake Havasu Marina, takes place on Thursday, October 24, at 6:00 p.m. on the Stage under the London Bridge. AZGFD providing after-hours assistance began Friday PHOENIX — The deadline to submit 2020 spring hunt applications is fast approaching. Applications for spring turkey, javelina, bison and bear must be received online by the Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) no later than 11:59 p.m. (Arizona time) Tuesday, Oct. 8.
