The Conservative Republican Club of Kingman will host guest speaker Stephen Richer of Phoenix on Monday, June 10 beginning at noon at the Dambar Steakhouse, 1960 E. Andy Devine. Richer is heading the Arizona Voting Integrity Project (the Republican Party project to combat voter fraud), and he is also going to be the opposition to Adrien Fontes, the Maricopa County Recorder. This meeting is open to the public, and admission is $3, with lunch optional and on your own.  No reservations are necessary. Membership in the club costs only $12. A two year-old girl pulled from a residential swimming pool north of Lake Havasu City last Friday died two days later. The apparent drowning incident remains under investigation by the Mohave County Sheriff’s office. Agency spokeswoman Anita Mortensen identified the victim as Harley Netter. She said deputies responded to the 3000 block of Jennie Lane in Desert Hills where family members had pulled Netter from the pool after discovering her face down in the water. Netter was transported to Havasu Regional Medical Center and then flown to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital in extremely critical condition. She was pronounced dead at 10:25…

Since 1998, The Department of Meteorology and Climate Science at San Jose State University have reported that there have been 804 pediatric vehicular heatstroke deaths in the United States, where more than half of the deaths are children under two years of age. In 2019, there have been a total of nine deaths reported, with two deaths reported in Arizona. In an effort to reduce the likelihood of heatstroke deaths of children in vehicles, the Lake Havasu City Police Department would like to remind the community to take precautionary measures when placing children in vehicles.
