Furrow gets probation, community service in drug case

The first of five defendants charged through an investigation of suspected drug sales from a home in Bullhead City avoided further jail time during a March 28 sentencing hearing in Kingman Thursday. Michael Furrow, 35, was placed on probation for 18 months and ordered to perform 60 hours of community work service. Furrow was initially charged with possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia when he and four others were arrested when police executed a search warrant on December, 28, 2018 at a home in the 700 block of River Gardens Drive….

Mentally ill man spared prison time; ordered to probation

A Bullhead City man suffering from schizophrenia and gender identity disorders is being given a chance to get mental health treatment while on probation rather than be sent to prison. Mohave County Court Commissioner Billy Sipe placed Dean Randall, 30, on probation for three years when he could have imposed up to 14 years in prison during a March 29 sentencing hearing. Judge Sipe imposed a 170-day jail sentence and credited him for that many days spent in custody so that Randall could be released. Missing pup sought after vehicle crash

Chico was lost in a rollover accident on Monday, April 1, around 6:40 a.m. on I-40 at mile marker 30, just north of Yucca.  Chico is an eight-week old pit puppy and weighs about 10 pounds. Mule deer poached near Bagdad

Crime was committed in Game Management Unit 18B  The Arizona Game and Fish Department is seeking information about the recent poaching of a mule deer near Bagdad, Ariz.
