A Kingman woman who allegedly threatened neighbors with a broken glass jar and a knife was taken into custody after scuffling with deputies late Sunday morning. Mohave County Sheriff’s office spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said deputies responded at 11:20 a.m. to the disturbance in the 3100 block of Northfield Avenue. Natalie Dawn is a five-year old Kingman resident, was diagnosed with stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma in February 2016. A year ago, in June 2018 Natalie relapsed. Natalie and her family have spent much of their time in New York, where her primary doctor specializes in neuroblastoma. Arizona’s boating season is here and the Arizona Game and Fish Department is helping watergoers prepare for a safe time on the water by offering multiple life jacket exchange events in the coming weeks. Now in its 11th year, the Life Jacket Exchange program allows people with an old, worn out life jacket to swap it for a new one (while supplies last). Two companies are partnering in development and operation of a $3-billion renewable energy data center about 12 miles south of Kingman. Solar panels are already arriving for assembly at the 717 acre site off of Interstate 40.
