LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Veterans Resource Team is hosting a Stand Down event on Saturday, October 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Lake Havasu City Aquatic Center, 100 Park Ave. Many local veterans’ resource organizations are present to assist with legal aid, housing, resume guidance, employment opportunities and more. This community-based intervention program is designed to help the veterans who are homeless combat life on the streets.
