Lions host vision screening in Dolan Springs

DOLAN SPRINGS – The Kingman Mohave Lions will be providing vision screening at the Mohave County Department of Public Heath second annual Health Fair/ STEM Night, Thursday, September 19, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Mt. U.S. Air Force Airman Nicholas J. Oestmann graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Oestmann is the son of Eric and Shelley Oestmann and grandson of Zelda Wright, all of Kingman. He is a 2019 graduate of Lee Williams High School, Kingman.

KINGMAN – The 12th Annual Brews and Brats Oktoberfest, presented by the Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club, will take place on Friday, Oct 4 from 3 to 10 p.m., and on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. in downtown Kingman, at Metcalfe Park (corner of Beale and Grandview Sts.). There will be local craft beer, bratwurst, sauerkraut, pretzels, soda, live entertainment, games, vendors, and family fun! Admission is free.
