KPD Fisk retires

On Thursday, March 21, Kingman Police Department (KPD) Lt. Bob Fisk retired after 25 years of service to the Kingman Police Department and the City of Kingman.  Fisk started his law enforcement career as a patrol officer in July 1993.  During his service Fisk was assigned as a patrol officer, motor officer and a detective.  Fisk was promoted and served as a Patrol Sergeant, Detective Sergeant, Patrol Lieutenant and Detective Lieutenant.  KPD is thankful for Fisk’s service to the Kingman Police Department and the City of Kingman.  They will miss him and wish him the best in this new chapter…

Minnesota resident perishes in Golden Valley crash

A resident of Shakopee, Minnesota was fatally injured when the motorcycle he was operating was struck by a truck in Golden Valley last Friday. Mohave County Sheriff’s office personnel responded at 5:25 p.m. to the crash at the intersection of Colorado Rd. and Chino Dr. Agency spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said Troy Thomas Gambucci, 46, was dead at the scene.  “Deputies determined that the motorcycle was traveling south on Colorado Rd. and came to an intersection, but failed to stop at the posted sign,” Mortensen said. “The motorcycle slid into the intersection and collided into a truck that was traveling west…

Vietnam Veterans Day Program scheduled for Friday

The Vietnam Veterans of America, Mohave County Chapter 975, will be hosting the 2019 Vietnam Veterans Day Program on Friday, March 29from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. in Veterans Memorial Park, 310 W.
