Kingman Powerhouse Kiwanis hosts scholarship dinner to support local youth

KINGMAN – Saturday, March 7, The Kingman Powerhouse Kiwanis hosted its scholarship dinner at the Club for Youth from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. This St. Patrick’s Day Celebration helped to raise money to support scholarships for graduating seniors at $20 a ticket, along with a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. Westbound lane restrictions on Interstate 40 near Seligman and Anvil Rock Road through mid-July

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for westbound lane restrictions on Interstate 40 near Seligman between mileposts 123 and 108 through mid-July. Drivers should plan for the following restrictions to be in place: One lane of traffic will be maintained on westbound I- 40 at all times. Law enforcement may be on site to assist with traffic control.  Eastbound I-40 will have intermittent left-lane closures along the project route for construction vehicle access. Bullhead City seeking transit commissioners

BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City is seeking applications from residents interested in serving on the Bullhead Area Transit System Commission (“BATS”). The BATS Commission makes recommendations to the Bullhead City Council regarding the development and maintenance of a public transportation system for the city.  The BATS Commission meets quarterly on the first Monday of February, May, August, and November; and holds special meetings as required. Funding for Rancho Santa Fe interchange project changes

KINGMAN – The formula for funding Kingman’s Interstate 40 Rancho Santa Fe interchange project has evolved. Two of the three funding sources remain the same, but the third has changed according to Mayor Jen Miles, City Manager Ron Foggin and city spokeswoman Colleen Haines. $20 million from the state remains available for the next four years and the city is committed to providing several million dollars more.
