KINGMAN – Kingman mayor Jen Miles and her Bullhead City counterpart Tom Brady have different plans when their current terms of office expire late next year. State Route 68 raised median construction in Golden Valley begins Aug. 16

Drivers should allow extra travel time and plan for delays  The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for overnight lane restrictions and intermittent closures on State Route 68 in Golden Valley near Kingman  for the construction of a raised median between Bacobi and Verde roads, beginning Monday, Aug. 16. The project is scheduled to be completed in the fall. Work will begin at Bacobi Road. Project work restrictions will occur overnight from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday evenings through Friday mornings.
