KINGMAN – U.S. senator Mark Kelly of Arizona spent several hours in Kingman Wednesday, meeting local leaders and Mohave Community college representatives. Kelly said he learned more about Kingman’s infrastructure and education needs and that he can put the information to use for local constituents when he returns to Washington D.C. MOHAVE COUNTY – Students asked and Mohave Community College answered.  The college will offer classes on campus, online and remotely through videoconferencing for the upcoming fall semester, which begins August 23.  College President Dr. Stacy Klippenstein just announced in a video message to the college community that on-campus classes will resume, and so will the remote class option.   “As you’ve seen, vaccination rates across the country have increased and the threat of the virus continues to decrease.  So, I’m very happy to say that this fall we plan to have classes back on campus and we’ll continue all of our…

BULLHEAD CITY – At approximately 4:00 p.m. Thursday, July 1, Bullhead City Fire Department (BHCFD) crews were dispatched to the Motel 6 located at 1081 Hwy. 95 for a reported commercial structure fire. According to a BHCFD spokesperson, a small shed was on fire at the north end of the structure.  Fire crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire, keeping it from spreading to the hotel.  Fire investigators responded to the scene finding an array of permissible fireworks covering the immediate area.
