KINGMAN – The One Stop Careers Center has been closed at the Mohave County Administration building in downtown Kingman where public access has already been heavily restricted to help prevent spread of the COVID-19 virus. BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead Fire Department (BHCFD) has announced that they have successfully completed the required survey process for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). In early March, several of their crew members, CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) members and Community Risk Reduction members were out conducting required informational surveys in the area of District Six. These completed surveys allow the department to obtain the allotted CDBG grant funds that will assist with the purchase of a new Type 1 Medic Unit (Ambulance) this fall. KINGMAN – Local health care professionals look to other communities and state and federal experts for useful data to make best practice decisions to manage a growing number of COVID-19 cases.
