BULLHEAD CITY – A female juvenile was treated for minor burn injuries to her feet suffered during a lunch hour brush blaze in Bullhead City Monday. Firefighters responded at 12:17 p.m. to the incident in the 1700 block of Toro Road. Spokeswoman Lori Viles said personnel encountered fire spread from a vacant lot extending to multiple exposures on Williams Drive. She said two wooden fences and a carport area were protected from flames. Cause of the fire is under investigation. Dave Hawkins

MOHAVE COUNTY – Late Monday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of 85 new COVID-19 confirmed cases. Thirty-five of the new cases are in the Bullhead City service area. There are also 32 cases in the Lake Havasu City service area. The Kingman service area has 15 new cases. North County has three new cases. Of the 35 Bullhead City area cases, all of them remain under investigation and although they are confirmed positives, more information is required.
