KINGMAN – City of Kingman is slowly getting back to fully operational after a recent cyberattack. The city’s Information Technology (IT) team members have been bringing government operations back online at a slow, safe pace. Kingman IT members have visited the city’s more than 20 work sites within the city, and getting email, internet access, and some specialized programs up and running. MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College is excited to announce that seven of its students have been selected as All Arizona Academic Team Members, including Kingman resident, Michelle Drwal.   All Arizona Academic Team members receive a full tuition scholarship to any public university in Arizona after they graduate MCC. The scholarship covers resident tuition for 10 consecutive undergraduate semesters or 60 credits for the fall and spring semesters.   Drwal is planning to attend Northern Arizona University to earn her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. MOHAVE COUNTY – For veterans seeking to further their education or start education in a new career field, Veterans Agriculture Education and Apprenticeship Program (VAEAP) has an opportunity for you. VAEAP’s goal is to provide a free agriculture education for military veterans, with the hopes of helping them with a successful career in agriculture. MOHAVE COUNTY – A tidal wave of money from the $1.9-trillion COVID-19 relief package is sloshing across the country to state and local government and numerous other entities. Billions of dollars will flow into Arizona. Dist. 2 Sup.
