City Council meeting cancelled due to internet disruption

KINGMAN – Communication disruption prompted postponement of Tuesday’s regular meeting of the Kingman City council. Mayor Jen Miles said sporadic cell phone and internet service made it impossible to conduct the meeting that was scheduled to start at 5:00 p.m. City officials were informed that a fire damaged fiber optic cables that resulted in the outage that the Mayor said lasted about an hour. Miles said no special meeting will be required and that items from the postponed session can be carried over to the June 1 council meeting.
