There’s always a green light at Quinn’s Cages Athletic Center & Batting Cages in Kingman. Owner Mike Quinn opened the center last January, holding his grand opening in early March.
“There were no other indoor batting cages in this area. I have always been involved with youth sports and coaching, so opening an athletic center with batting cages seemed to be the next step for me,” said owner Mike Quinn. “Everyone is welcome here. We are a youth-focused family-oriented center, and we offer a little for everyone who is active. Our goal is to assist youth athletes in the area to build their skills, and also to provide the community with a healthy entertainment outlet.”
Quinn’s Cages not only offers indoor batting cages but also golf simulators, athletic lessons and camps, sports-oriented arcade games, party facilities, and a full weight training and yoga center. They even offer dance lessons. “We are also a hub for youth sports,” said Quinn. “Generally, you can sign up your kids for most youth sports by coming in to our center.”
Don’t have a bat or helmet at home? No problem! “We have equipment for everyone to use that we sanitize using state-of-the-art equipment. If you have your own equipment, we encourage you to bring it, or use ours,” continued Quinn.
Batting Cages
“We have three indoor batting cage tunnels that offer baseball at 40, 50, 60 and 70 mph, and softball slow pitch at 40, 50, and 60 mph, “Quinn said. “Participants using the facilities can expect to spend from a half hour to around two hours here. It’s a great place to bring the kids!”
Quinn’s Cages offers three flexible options including purchasing rounds for the day, month, or an annual membership with an $89 savings. Monthly and annual memberships include 10 or 20 rounds of 15 pitches each per day.
Golf Simulator
The golf simulator is offered at one-hour sessions, with up to four participants at a time. Golf lessons are also available.
Athletic Instruction
“We offer private lessons for baseball and softball. We cover fielding, batting and pitching,” said Quinn. Quinn’s Cages also offers Athletic Enhancement Camps for youth ages 7 – 18. The classes are held Thursdays from 5 to 8 p.m. and are $50 per month or $10 per class.
Entertainment
“We not only offer birthday party packages but also corporate party packages. If you are looking for something different for your company’s employees, this is it!” said Quinn. “We can cater to any size company and their employee preferences.”
The facility sports big screen televisions in every room as well as many arcade games. Arcade games include Two-Minute Drill, NBA Hoops, Bubble Hockey, Candy Crane and many more.
Diversity
Quinn’s Cages also has a multi-purpose room that offers free weights for classes, yoga, and dance classes. Yoga is offered by Aubrey Babcock for $49 per month or $15 per session. Dance classes are for ages 13 and up, and include both ballet and contemporary instruction.
“Quinn’s Cages is a place you can come year-round for wholesome family fun. Our facility is rigorously cleaned and sanitized for your comfort and safety,” said Quinn.
