BULLHEAD CITY – A Nov. 1 traffic stop for speeding resulted in a significant drug seizure in Bullhead City. Officers initially found some drug paraphernalia and a 9 mm handgun after the vehicle was pulled over at 2:00 a.m., according to Bullhead City police Department public information officer Emily Fromelt.
“Lake Havasu City Police K-9 Echo responded to the scene and the narcotic detection dog alerted on the vehicle,” Fromelt said. “Police located a baggie with a significant about of blue counterfeit “M-30” pills containing Fentanyl.”
Fromelt said the baggie contained more than 10,000 pills.
Bullhead City residents Raymond Rodriguez and Dennis Whitaker, both 41, were arrested and jailed for possession of narcotic drugs for sale and transportation of narcotic drugs. Whitaker was additionally arrested for misconduct involving weapons.
