BLM announces temporary closure and restrictions of public lands for the Legacy Racing Event off-highway vehicle race events

LAKE HAVASU CITY –The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Lake Havasu Field Office announces the temporary closure and restrictions of selected public lands for the Legacy Racing Event off-highway vehicle (OHV) race events in and around the Parker 400 course near the communities of Parker and Bouse. The temporary closure takes effect at 11:59 p.m. Feb. 20, 2024, through midnight Feb. 25, 2024, and the temporary restrictions from 11:59 p.m. Feb. 19, 2024, through midnight Feb. 25, 2024.

Access to public lands in and around the event will be temporarily closed, restricted, or designated as spectator areas. Restricted and closed areas will be marked at key access points with signage, fencing, or barriers. Maps and information regarding both closures and impacted restricted areas are attached. Copies of the maps are also available at the Lake Havasu Field Office, 1785 Kiowa Ave., Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
