BHCPD receives Highway Safety Grant

BULLHEAD CITY – Thanks to the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) 2021 Grant, the Bullhead City Police Department will be acquiring new equipment and advanced training for accident investigations.

The GOHS Grant awarded $25,159 to purchase 3D accident reconstruction scanning equipment, software and training.

“The Police Department’s goal is to make the roadways of Bullhead City as safe as possible,” said Traffic Section Supervisor Sergeant Scott Gillman. “This sophisticated technology and training will bring much needed advancements in our accident reconstruction investigations.”

Officers in the Traffic Section and Bureau of Criminal Investigations will receive training on this new equipment and software.
