Bank and Byrd road closure in Kingman

KINGMAN — The City of Kingman is notifying residents and motorists of an upcoming road closure to accommodate the installation of a new utility service line by Unisource Gas. This closure will take place on Bank Street at the intersection of Byrd Avenue to Airway Avenue, on Thursday, April 10th and Friday, April 11th, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each day.

The closure will begin at the intersection of Bank Street and Byrd Avenue, extending northbound to Airway Avenue. During this time, the northbound lane on Bank Street will be closed, and a detour will be in place to redirect northbound traffic coming from Beverly Avenue.

The city encourages the public to be aware of construction workers in the area and to follow directions posted on the traffic control signage in order to provide a safe working environment for workers, the motoring public, and pedestrians.
