Authorities looking to identify suspects who dropped rocks from an overpass in Henderson

CLARK COUNTY, NV — Authorities in southern Nevada are trying to identify suspects who dropped or tossed large rocks from a pedestrian overpass in nearby Henderson, outslide Las Vegas. Nevada State Highway Patrol and Investigations Divisions and Henderson police responded at 8:43 p.m. Sunday to the incident on northbound US-95, just north of the Railroad Pass Casino.

“Upon arrival, officers found the suspects had already fled the scene,” said state police public information officer Yoko Kim Smith. “Two drivers sustained serious injuries as a result of these reckless acts and were transported to an area hospital.”

Smith said four vehicles incurred moderate to severe damage. Anyone with information about the incident or those involved is urged to contact Nevada State Police (702-668-3261).
