Local prosecution of young Las Vegans whose crime spree began in Henderson and ended in Kingman last spring ended last Friday with the sentencing of the second defendant. A strong armed robbery suspect turned himself in after his picture was distributed by the Bullhead City police department. Area media and social media displayed an image of the suspect captured by surveillance system video during the March 31 incident in the Smith’s Food and Drug parking lot in the 1700 block of Lakeside Drive.    Police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said tips from citizens helped investigators identify the suspect as Steven Alexander Picard, 29.
