Judith Mae (McConnell) Perry 

Judith Mae (McConnell) Perry left this earth to be with her beloved husband, Samuel Edward Perry, on March 9, 2024.
She was born in Zanesville, Ohio on April 3, 1952. Her family moved to California when she was in grade school, and she lived there until 1993 when she moved to Kingman, Arizona. Judy started working for Head Start in 1994. S
he put her heart and soul into her job and helped many families in our community. Judy worked for Head Start for over 20 years before retiring. After retiring, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Judy was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandma, Nana, and friend. She will be truly missed.
Judy will be buried with her husband, Sam, at Mountain View Cemetery on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 11 a.m. The family would like to extend an invitation to anyone that would like to attend.

Annual Kids’ Day Fair slated

KINGMAN – Kingman Regional Medical Center will host its 30th Annual Kids’ Day Health and Safety Fair on Saturday, June 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the KRMC Hualapai Mountain Campus, 3801 Santa Rosa Drive. Children and their parents can visit booths from local organizations with numerous opportunities for learning and fun. Join us to learn about children’s safety, health, nutrition, and more! Dozens of local organizations will offer information on children’s activities and services throughout the community.
The event is free and open to the public with food, prizes, and lots of fun for everyone.

Thunder Rode thanks supporters

Dear Editor,
Thunder-Rode Motorcycle Accessories hosted their 2nd annual “Thunder-Rode BikeFest” in April. Thunder-Rode BikeFest featured three days of motorcycle rally activities, including: a motorcycle street market, Miss Thunder-Rode search, and live music. Admittance was free the entire weekend for all guests. Approximately 3,000 to 5,000 bikers strolled through the gates at Thunder-Rode BikeFest during Arizona Route 66 Bike Week from New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, California, and our home state of Arizona.
