Kingman Police Department 51st Annual Pumpkin Patrol

KINGMAN – The 51st Annual Pumpkin Patrol will be accepting donations of individual candy or cash donations to fund giving out for this year’s Halloween. Donations will be accepted from now until October 24. You may drop off candy or monetary donations at the Kingman Police Department, 2730 E Andy Devine Ave, Monday through Thursday between seven a.m. and six p.m. You may mail donations to the department or make other arrangements if necessary. CEOs of Albertsons and Kroger says shoppers would see lower prices after merger

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The chief executive officers of Kroger and Albertsons insisted Wednesday — under questioning from the federal government — that merging would allow the two supermarket companies to lower prices and more effectively compete with retail giants like Walmart, Costco and Amazon.

Kroger CEO Rodney McMullen and Albertsons CEO Vivek Sankaran appeared in Oregon’s U.S. District Court to testify against the Federal Trade Commission’s attempt to block the proposed merger of their companies.

Disc golf to hold first state championship

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu Disc Golf Club will be swirling their sport into autumn with an upcoming championship. Created by local disc golf enthusiasts, the club is always hyped up to come together and participate in the club’s ongoing competitions.  

The club welcomes the launch of the first ever Arizona Championships in Mohave County. The competition is expecting over two hundred players from all over the country hoping to take the win for the steadily increasing sport.
