Clifford William Odor, of Kingman, died Wednesday, September 18, 2024. He as 87. Mr. Odor was born Sept. 4, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan. A viewing will be held Monday, Sept. 30 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, with internment following at noon on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at Mountain View Cemetery in Kingman. The family contact is Mr. Odor’s daughter Lorrie Waits. Arrangements were made by Sutton Memorial Funeral Home.

LBRW to host monthly dinner

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The London Bridge Republican Women’s (LBRW) monthly dinner will be held Monday, October 7, at Shugrue’s Bridgeview Room. Airstream village underway in downtown Kingman

KINGMAN – The first future dwelling units have begun arriving for the “Tin Can Alley” community of vintage Airstream camper trailers being developed for short term visitor stays along Historic Route 66 in downtown Kingman.

Walk-up coffee and ice cream shops called “Mud” and “Scoops” are open and operating in the space between Second and Third Sts. Site preparation and staking has occurred before the Airstream units are placed on the property.

The more color, the better: Downtown mural gets a touchup

KINGMAN – One of Kingman’s most predominant and colorful murals got a touchup thanks to a dedicated artist and supportive community.

Kingman Main Street (KMS) brought artist and sculpturer Kirk Seese back to town to throw a new layer of color and protection on his mural originally painted on the southside wall of Beale Street Theater in 2018.

The 1,800 square foot mural was completed as the first phase of the City of Kingman’s Interactive Mural Program and partnered with the Kingman Center for the Arts (KCA) as part of the Art Alley Mural project.

Geffery Leon Force

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Geffery Leon Force on September 16, 2024. He was 65 years old.

Geff was born in Ontario, Ca in 1959. He grew up in Mira Loma, Ontario and Alta Loma California. He attended Alta Loma High School. After high school Geff was a pumpman for Cel-Crete and an operator of O.H. Cruse, but ultimately obtained his CDL and had a 30-year career in OTR Trucking. He amassed a 3,000,000-mile safe driving record. Geff was an avid fan of auto racing, aviation, aerospace along with hiking, fishing and camping.
