Deadline to submit nominations is May 12 PHOENIX — The Wildlife for Tomorrow Foundation is soliciting nominations for this year’s candidates for induction into the Arizona Outdoor Hall of Fame. The Outdoor Hall of Fame annually recognizes individuals and organizations that have made significant and lasting contributions toward Arizona’s wildlife, the welfare of its natural resources, and the state’s outdoor heritage. Submission deadline for nominations is 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 12. MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office has identified men who were killed in separate shooting incidents in rural Mohave County communities on Wednesday, April 15. Some additional details are provided in news releases issued Friday. The suspected burglar who was killed in Dolan Springs has been identified as Alan Marc Baker, 51. Sheriff’s office spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said Baker exited a home he had allegedly burgled when he fired his rifle at neighbors outside Wednesday afternoon. Mortensen said Baker was struck when the neighbors returned fire. Baker fled but was discovered dead in the nearby desert….

Our family is saddened to announce that our mom and dad, our Grammy Jane and Grandaddio, who many of you know as Governor Jane Dee Hull and Dr. Terry Hull, married 66 years, passed away within hours of each other of natural causes. They died peacefully at home surrounded by family. Our parents were age 84 and 85 respectively. Their journey together is an amazing story of dedication, true public service, leadership, respect for human dignity, and love of family. Dear Editor, Social distancing is tough for most of us. We love gathering in ballgames, movies, theatres, restaurants, churches and with family. Seeing our neighbors and friends in the local grocery or chatting at the post office is a normalcy of life, was a normalcy of life. The new normal is shocking.
