George Edgar (Tuffy) Henry, of Kingman, died Wednesday, January 13, 2021. He was 79. Mr. Henry was born Oct. 25, 1941 in Kingman. The family contact is his wife Margaret Pauline Henry. Arrangements were made by Sutton Memorial Funeral Home.
BULLHEAD CITY – Laughlin town founder Don Laughlin was the key figure in proposing and funding construction ago of the bridge that spans the Colorado River, linking Bullhead City with the town of Laughlin, near Laughlin’s Riverside Resort Hotel and Casino. Donna Louise (Jackson) Kowalske was born October 29, 1936, in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin to Robert and Gladys Jackson and died Monday, January 11, 2021, in Kingman, Arizona. Donna grew up in her family hometown of Fond Du Lac and attended St. Peters Lutheran School and graduated from Winnebago Lutheran Academy. When Donna was 16 years old she contracted spinal meningitis and almost died. This life threatening illness caused many health problems for Donna throughout her lifetime but it did not stop her. KINGMAN – Safe Site will be in the downtown area over the next two weeks to conduct pothole investigations that will greatly assist the city in the design to mitigate utility conflicts once construction starts on the Downtown Sewer Outfall Relocation Project. The potholing will take place on Route 66/Andy Devine Ave., 1st and 2nd Streets (both sides of the railroad), Topeka St., and Old Trails Road. KINGMAN – Detectives with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, Kingman Police Department and investigators with the Kingman Fire Department, are actively investigating several residential arsons that have occurred in the Kingman area over the past couple of months. The fires have occurred at vacant residences and no one has been injured during the fires. Silent Witness is currently offering a reward up to $500.00 for information that leads to the arrest of those responsible for the fires.
