WASHINGTON — The Department of the Interior has announced a $152 million investment from President Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that will bring clean, reliable drinking water to communities across the West through six water storage and conveyance projects. The projects in California, Colorado and Washington are expected to develop at least 1.7 million acre-feet of additional water storage capacity, enough water to support 6.8 million people for a year. KINGMAN – He believes keeping votes safe, secure and honest is key to his county success. Allen Tempert loves his job and is proud of the results his department achieves as the Mohave County Elections Director. He grew up in and spent his early adult years in Pittsburgh, PA, achieving two degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne University, before earning his Masters Degree in Public Management from Carnegie Mellon University. KRW to host Supervisor Lingenfelter

KINGMAN – Kingman Republican Women (KRW) will host Mohave County Supervisor Travis Lingenfelter, who has been serving on the Board of Supervisors since 2010. KRW meets on the first Monday of each month. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. and the meeting begins at 1 p.m. Meetings are held at the College Park Church Community Center, 1990 Jagerson Avenue. Meetings are open to the public and membership is not required. There is a $3 fee to cover the cost of the meeting room. Lunch will not be served but brown baggers are welcome.
