Beginning January 1, 2024, Lake Mead National Recreation Area will transition to a cashless fee collection system, accepting only electronic card payments for entrance, lake use, and campground fees. When I was a child, my parents often hid my Christmas presents until they could wrap them and placed them under the tree. What they didn’t know is that I was on a mission to find them.
