The Mohave County Recorder’s Office prevailed in a very close competition with the Treasurer’s Office in a Toys for Tots donation drive. With just a two-toy difference separating the offices, Treasurer SueAnn Mello said she and Recorder Lydia Durst called it a tie with 266 items gathered for children’s gifts. Last week, Wecom Fiber dropped off a truck full of toys for the “Toys for Tots” program to the Voter Registration Department where the pickup boxes were located. Children perish in house fire

BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Police Department is continuing its investigation on the fatal fire that occurred on Saturday (12/16) evening and claimed the lives of five children. There were no survivors. A 13-year-old boy, 5-year-old boy, 4-year-old girl, and a 2-year-old boy were all siblings who were residents of the home.
