LAKE HAVASU CITY — A man involved in a violent hotel room intrusion and robbery in Lake Havasu City and other crimes is being given a chance to better himself in a controlled environment rather than returning to prison.
Imposition of a seven-year prison term resolves a Kingman man’s child pornography case. The punishment imposed during an April 4 sentencing hearing was prescribed in a plea agreement convicting Dylan Sturgin, 20, of three counts reduced to attempted sexual exploitation of a minor.
A Bullhead City woman who talked her way out of a probation-eligible plea agreement now faces risk of substantial prison time if convicted at trial. The deal unraveled during an April 4 change of plea hearing at the Mohave County Law and Justice Center in Kingman.
LAKE HAVASU CITY – Monday’s Arizona Board of Executive Clemency hearing regarding the potential release of a Lake Havasu City man serving a natural life prison term for a brutal 1999 murder has been continued.
