Free events at the Mohave County Library Kingman Branch

The Mohave County Library Kingman Branch will be having a free mosaic terra cotta pot class on Tuesday, April 30 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for people ages 18 and older. The supplies will be provided. Plans to build Perkins submitted to the City

Plans have been submitted and a permit is requested to build a Perkins Restaurant and Bakery behind the Safeway Shopping Center in Kingman. The Lake Havasu City-based Selberg and Associates architectural firm turned in plans to the city on April 19.    A 5,258 sq. ft. restaurant that will seat up to 257 people is proposed on a lot between the shopping center and Interstate 40 Stockton Hill Road exit.    City officials indicated a first review of the plans should be completed by the end of this month and that the construction permit could issue on or before mid-May. Allison faces minimum of 21 years

A Kingman man admits wearing body armor while committing armed robberies, kidnappings and assaults during business invasions last year. An assortment of 47 charges are dismissed in the plea agreement entered Monday that aims to resolve ten indicted cases.    Francis Allison, 59, pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated assault for a January 1, 2018 incident in Valle Vista, north of Kingman. Nine arrested in sex sting

An undercover sting operation targeting use of the internet to lure minors for sexual exploitation has resulted in nine arrests, seven of them involving Mohave County residents.
