Bullhead City struggles to fill P&Z seats

BULLHEAD CITY – Vacant Planning & Zoning Commission seats was addressed at the Dec. 17 Bullhead City Council meeting.

The commission currently has two vacancies and one potential appointee, Aaron Lopez. Lopez was scheduled to speak about his appointment but did not because of his involvement in a championship softball game. In Lopez’ absence, the council approved his appointment unanimously.

Bullhead City Mayor Tom Brady spoke about the importance of the committees. “The Planning and Zoning Commission is probably one of the most important commissions that we do have. And you can see just by today’s actions, we have vacancies that aren’t being filled. If there’s anyone who wants to be involved in helping the city, through their volunteer efforts by serving on one of these commissions, please contact Sue Steiner, our City Clerk. Make your wishes known. We’d love to have citizens participate.”
