MOHAVE COUNTY — Heavy equipment quickly knocked down the Mohave County Legal Defender’s Office late Tuesday morning. Its dozen staff members are temporarily working in other space before moving into the new Legal Services Center (LSC) in late Oct. or Nov.
The building was leveled to create more parking space a block or two west of the LSC. The LSC can be seen in the background of this image, just above the top of the rubble pile, with the Law and Justice Center and historic courthouse to the right.
The former Mohave County Legal Defender’s Office previously operated at 313 Pine St. in downtown Kingman.
