MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave College Corporate Education is offering a babysitter certification class designed to help individuals ages 12 and older build the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to provide safe and responsible childcare.
The Babysitting Essentials class is Sept. 26, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mohave College Beale Street Center, 309 E. Beale Street, room 116. Participants will learn important child safety procedures, how to handle difficult situations, ways to turn babysitting skills into a business and how to build a resume that can help attract customers. Those who complete the course will earn a nationally recognized certification.
Participants can also take a CPR certification class on Oct. 3, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Babysitting Essentials class cost is $75, or participants can register for both the babysitting and CPR certification classes for $125.
