MOHAVE COUNTY — The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is asking for the public’s assistance in an open homicide investigation involving Jean Andrae Brady, whose body was found in Standard Wash on June 25, 1995, in Lake Havasu City.
Brady (DOB June 2, 1947) was initially a Jane Doe victim later identified by investigators, and her cause of death was determined to be multiple gunshot wounds. Despite interviews conducted during the investigation, including with Brady’s ex-husband, no suspect was ever identified.
Detectives also served a search warrant on a storage unit rented by Brady at the time of her death and recovered multiple boxes of personal property. Those items were later determined as not pertinent to the homicide investigation, and investigators are seeking extended family members to release her personal belongings to.
Brady did not appear to have siblings or children. Her ex-husband passed away in 1996. Her parents were Robert Curtis Patterson of Chicago, Illinois (DOB 8-9-1913, DOD 5-5-1969), and her mother was Doris Jean Massman of Missouri (DOB 7-29-14, DOD 4-18-1979). It is believed that Brady’s relatives may be residing in Missouri and/or Kansas.
