BULLHEAD CITY — A Las Vegas man has entered a mandatory prison plea agreement for a deadly traffic accident in Bullhead City. The two-vehicle collision on May 4, 2024 claimed the life of Judy Keller, 78, Bullhead City.

Authorities have reported that Anthony Lee, 27, was speeding when the 2021 Dodge Charger he was driving ran a red light before colliding with a 2020 Hyundai that was turning left from Highway 95 onto Meadows Drive. Keller, the driver and lone occupant of the Hyundai, was dead at the scene.

During the July 15 change of plea hearing, deputy Mohave County attorney James Gilmore said witnesses reported that the Charger was being driven in a reckless manner, and was weaving through traffic at an estimated 100 miles per hour right before the crash.

Gilmore said Lee’s driver’s license was suspended and that tests revealed that he had marijuana in his bloodstream.

Three adults and a child in Lee’s vehicle were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. He pleaded guilty to manslaughter and aggravated driving while impaired while aggravated assault, child abuse and other charges are dismissed in the plea deal.

Terms of the agreement required Judge Ryan Esplin to impose a 7.5-year prison term, followed by probation at an Aug. 10 sentencing hearing.
