Lake Havasu City congratulates Councilmember Jeni Coke
LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City congratulates Councilmember Jeni Coke on her selection as one of only 24 civic and community leaders across Arizona chosen for the 2026 Flinn-Brown Fellowship through the Flinn Foundation.
The Flinn-Brown Fellowship is a highly competitive statewide civic leadership program offered through the Arizona Center for Civic Leadership at the Flinn Foundation. Since 2011, the program has connected civic-minded leaders from across Arizona with public policy education, leadership development, and a statewide network dedicated to strengthening communities and advancing thoughtful public service.
Councilmember Coke was selected following a competitive application and interview process conducted by a committee of Arizona leaders. The 2026 cohort represents leaders from across Arizona and a wide range of professional backgrounds, including healthcare, education, municipal leadership, law, and economic development.
“Councilmember Jeni Coke continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to public service and community leadership,” said Mayor Cal Sheehy. “Her selection as a Flinn-Brown Fellow reflects not only her dedication to Lake Havasu City, but also her willingness to collaborate, learn, and help shape the future of Arizona communities. Having two members of our City Council selected for the Flinn-Brown Fellowship in recent years speaks to the caliber of leadership serving our community and Lake Havasu City’s growing presence in statewide civic leadership conversations.
Lake Havasu City Councilmember Cameron Moses joined the Flinn-Brown Fellowship program as part of the 2024 cohort.
Councilmember Coke currently serves as Market Director of Physician Recruitment for Havasu Regional and Valley View Medical Centers and is serving her 14th year on the Lake Havasu City Council, including two years as vice mayor. She also co-founded the nonprofit E3, which educates and empowers individuals interested in public office.
As part of the fellowship, participants complete the Flinn-Brown Academy, a series of policy and leadership sessions focused on issues impacting Arizona, including education, healthcare, infrastructure, the environment, criminal justice, and state government. Fellows also join the statewide Flinn-Brown Network, which includes hundreds of civic and community leaders throughout Arizona.
