Arsonist pleads to setting neighbors car afire

KINGMAN – Authorities say it was an ongoing feud that resulted in a Kingman man torching the inside of his neighbor’s vehicle. Everett Coulter, 64, pled guilty Wednesday to arson of a structure.

Police reports indicate Coulter allegedly used flammable material and cloth to light the inside of his neighbor’s vehicle at 3130 North Prescott Street on July 22. Prosecutor Jacob Cote said the vehicle sustained significant damage, but no one was injured.

The plea agreement introduced before Judge Doug Camacho dismisses a criminal damage charge. Camacho can place Coulter on probation or impose up to a 2.5-year prison term at a November 7 sentencing hearing.

Coulter will also be required to pay at least $2,600 in restitution.
