Kingman launches mobile app to improve resident engagement

KINGMAN –  The City of Kingman has launched KingmanAZ Connect, a new mobile application. The app was created to enhance communication between the city and residents, making it easier than ever to report concerns, access information, and stay connected with local government.

The KingmanAZ Connect app provides residents with a simple and convenient way to report non-emergency issues such as potholes, water leaks, or code enforcement concerns directly to the appropriate department. Each report can include a photo and geolocation to help city staff respond more efficiently and accurately. Users will also receive updates and notifications when their requests are completed or resolved, ensuring transparency throughout the process.

The launch comes as the City’s Public Works Department continues addressing recent community concerns about roadway cutouts and sidewalk damage. Public Works Director Jamie Curreri said the new app will serve as another valuable avenue for identifying and tracking concerns such as these and other maintenance needs across the city.

Unlike the traditional method of phoning in complaints, service requests submitted through the app will automatically populate onto an online tracking list. This streamlined process not only saves time for residents but also ensures that concerns are accurately logged and assigned to the correct department for action.

In addition to service requests, KingmanAZ Connect allows residents to receive real-time alerts and updates about road closures, weather notifications, community events, and other important city news. The app also provides quick access to a variety of resources, including city council agendas, online payment portals, department contact information, and videos that highlight city programs and services.

Built on the GoGov platform, KingmanAZ Connect serves as both a communication and engagement tool for residents while helping streamline internal workflows for staff. The app’s design reflects the city’s ongoing commitment to improving accessibility, efficiency, and customer service for the community.

“KingmanAZ Connect represents an important step forward in connecting residents directly to their local government,” said City Manager Tim Walsh. “This partnership with GoGov allows us to modernize how we serve our community and provide a faster, more transparent way for residents to engage with the city.”

The KingmanAZ Connect app is available now for free download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. For more information, visit CityofKingman.gov or follow the city on social media to stay up to date on the latest news and updates.
