Mohave College Corporate Education, Lake Havasu City celebrate academy graduates

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave College Corporate Education department in partnership with Lake Havasu City, celebrated the graduation of participants from the Supervisor Excellence Academy (SEA) 2.0 program Wednesday, Sept, 24 on the Lake Havasu Campus. The ceremony recognized the achievements of the City’s selected supervisors and managers who successfully completed this intensive 12-month leadership development program.

The Academy is an immersive learning experience designed to enhance the skills and competencies of current and emerging City supervisors. Participants completed a combination of interactive classes and hands-on work-based learning, including both for-credit and non-credit courses tailored specifically to City government operations. The program equips supervisors to better serve Lake Havasu City residents, visitors, businesses, community organizations and internal departments.

“We are incredibly proud of our second cohort from the Supervisory Excellence Academy for the City of Lake Havasu employees,” said Gina Kremper, Associate Dean of Corporate Education. “Their dedication over the past year to developing leadership skills while earning college credits will directly benefit Lake Havasu City and its residents. This partnership exemplifies the college’s commitment to providing targeted, high-impact education that addresses the real-world needs of our community.”

Graduates left the program with strengthened leadership capabilities, prepared to implement innovative solutions and foster excellence across City operations. The College provided ongoing academic support and guidance, ensuring participants received a comprehensive educational experience.

The ceremony featured remarks from College leaders, City officials, program facilitators and participants. Corporate Education offers a variety of workshops and customized training solutions that help empower organizations and businesses through tailored professional development courses that enhance employee skills and drive organizational success.
