Alpacas of the Southwest to host 21st Annual Alpaca Farm Days

MOHAVE COUNTY — Alpacas of the Southwest is hosting its 21st Annual Alpaca Farm Days on October 4–5 near Kingman on Blake Ranch Road. The event is free and open to the public, and will feature 28 alpacas that attendees can feed, pet, and take pictures with.

Several local artisans will be on site with unique handmade items for purchase. Mohave County Rock & Gem Club will have a large booth with many gemstones and High Desert Astronomy Club of Kingman will have solar telescopes on hand. The Ranch Store will have luxury alpaca products available.

Children can visit the face-painting booth as well as the Arts & Craft Cabin to create an art project to take home—all supplies provided. No dogs permitted. Alpacas of the Southwest Farm is located off the Blake Ranch Road exit on Interstate-40 heading east. Take the Blake Ranch Road exit and follow the signs.  For more information, visit the website at www.southwestalpacatours.com. or call 928-225-1450 or 702-338-7806.
