LAKE HAVASU — If you’re a veteran living in Lake Havasu and curious about what benefits are available to you, Echo Group Band of Brothers is always making themselves accessible to provide information for all of those who have served.
The veteran owned nonprofit is engaged within Havasu about giving the community awareness with all issues concerning veterans.
The organization aims to provide solutions and diligently partners with local businesses and groups to achieve the best outcomes not just in Lake Havasu, but worldwide. For the past year, the team’s Veteran Outreach Program Specialist Stacy Lee has been visiting Mohave Community College each Tuesday to give veterans the answers they need about the many programs and assistance that is obtainable to them.
Realizing that the services Lee wanted to give were primarily only available on reserves or military bases, she reached out to the college’s Student Life Coordinator Nadia Suarez about how the Echo Group can help not just local veterans, but student veterans of the school as well.
Over the past year, Lee has been making herself available to give veterans information about where to seek counseling for PSTD, healthcare benefits, disability, education, and much more.

Initially, the plan was to have the Veteran Outreach Specialist visit once a week, now as the summer months approach us, the visits will now only be once a month.
The next scheduled outreach meeting will be on Tuesday June 10 from 11am to 12pm inside the library of Lake Havasu’s Mohave Community College. The next one scheduled after that will be Tuesday July 15 from 11am to 12pm at that same location.
Even though it’s now only once a month, every little bit helps as the Echo Group Band of Brothers mission is to continuously give assistance, guidance, sisterhood, and brotherhood amongst all veterans.
