Youth encouraged to participate in Climate Strike

Kingman area environmental activist Jack Ehrhardt is inviting area kids to participate in a global warming public awareness event that he hopes can take place with other rallies around the state, nation and world. Ehrhardt wants to involve youngsters in Youth Climate Strike festivities this Friday, Sept. 20, in concert with others are striking once again in protest of complacency and inaction in the climate change arena.

One large march is scheduled In Phoenix, from the Maricopa County Courthouse across from City Hall to the State Capitol. It is a 1.3 mile walk. Being a student is not required and all interested young people are invited.

The climate strikes lead up to a week of action, including on September 27th. There will be a walk out and march on the Arizona State University Tempe Campus on the Hayden Lawn at 10:00 A.M.
