Pedestrian struck and killed

KINGMAN – A vehicular-pedestrian fatality is under investigation by the Kingman Police Department. The incident occurred about 8:40 p.m. on January 30 in the vicinity of Stockton Hill Road and Northern Avenue.

Deputy police chief Joel Freed said Corey Ellis, 47, was wearing dark clothing and was walking southbound while trying to traverse Northern Avenue outside of the crosswalk. Ellis was struck by a 2015 pickup truck whose driver was not injured.

Ellis died of his injuries following transport to Kingman Regional Medical Center.
