LAKE HAVASU CITY – How does Lake Havasu celebrate Halloween? Probably in more ways than you think! Whether it’s the Parks and Recreation spooktacular trunk or treat event, main street’s fright night, or the sheriff’s first ever candy crawl this year, Lake Havasu always knows how to kick up the fun for the yearly holiday.

Local nonprofit Women with Willpower, or shall we say Witches with Willpower, invaded SummeRay Wine Bar for an evening of drinks, appetizers, a 50/50 raffle drawing, and a witch hat contest. Women with Willpower is well known throughout the community for providing assistance for females who have exhausted all of their resources.

The only request of the organization is that individuals pay it forward by participating in charitable events. Telesis Preparatory Academy welcomed the holiday in their own way by hosting a family fun night where students and parents attended and participated in games, candy activities, and even a costume contest. It was only $5 to get in as long as you brought a 12-ounce bag of candy in support of the charter school’s booster club.

Let’s not forget about the annual Witch Paddle event! Hosted by outdoor sporting goods retailer Southwest Outfitters witches of the lake magically appeared over the weekend paddling along the smooth waters of the Bridgewater Channel with their brooms. Spectators witnessed the witches paddling through the channel probably wondering what mysterious adventures they will embark on this Halloween.

Brush off those bad spirits and bring in new positive ones, when you spend the Halloween season right here in Lake Havasu City!
