LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu High School’s Band of Knights were very busy last week preparing for their school year’s upcoming performances. The school’s band performed a live pre-production show on Thursday, Sept. 19 at 5:30 p.m. at the school’s main football field. Music instructors for the band invited family, friends, and parents to watch the band’s first ever performance for their 2024 show titled Black Swan.

Other songs included in the rehearsal were famous ones like The show Must Go On by Queen and My Immortal by Evanescence. On Saturday, Sept. 21, the students along with the band’s Assistant Director Craig Schrieber, showed up as early as 7 a.m. for a car wash fundraiser at Tri M Mini Mart until 1 p.m. This was the Knight’s second fundraiser of the school year.

Last month, they teamed up with fast food chain Culvers for their very first fundraiser of the school year. Fifteen percent of all customer sales went to Band of Knights to support all the necessary tools for the band’s uniforms, field trips, and special events.
