Nonprofit will hold auditions for on-air event

LAKE HAVASU CITY – I Love Lake Havasu is now seeking news correspondents to be a part of their Youtube news channel. Formally known as The Bridge Lake Havasu, the media company has turned nonprofit and has changed their name to, I Love Lake Havasu.

The company will be hosting a string of Havasu’s most popular events this year like London Bridge Days and Balloon Festival.  With their jam-packed season of events currently in the works, the nonprofit is currently seeking on air reporters that will fill the public in on the latest and greatest happenings around town.

The auditioning process will go as follows. Candidates must complete a 30-minute interview that will include a screen test. On camera personality hopefuls will be reviewed on how they come across on camera while delivering news coverage about local events.

The role requires strong interviewing skills with local musicians, event organizers, and sponsors.  It also might be a good idea to visit Welcome to I Love Lake Havasu (ilovelhc.com), to learn about the exciting upcoming events that are needing  on air coverage. Do you think you have what it takes to be I Love Lake Havasu’s events correspondent?

All applicants must be 21 or above to apply. Auditions will be taking place this Saturday, September 14 from 8 a.m. to noon at Nomadic coworking space. Come on out and let your on-air camera personality shine for this unique opportunity.
